One Halloween night there was a witch. This witch lived in a forest on the outskirts of town. She only came out on certain days, one would be Halloween. She would come out and do some shopping in town but as soon as it was dusk, she would go back into her house and not come out again until the next Halloween.
People always wondered what she did all year long in her very small house. Some people say she isn’t there all year long but most everyone knows she really is. Others say she stays in the house and survives off the mice in there. Either way, everyone who lives in the town knows there is a crazy witch near by.
Why does she never come out? Some say she is cursed by a horrible witch curse. They say that is the worst curse of all. Apparently she used to be a normal girl but she made a witch mad and got the curse cast on her. She stays in her house so she doesn’t ever have to put this horrible curse upon a person.

I am so ready for basketball to start!

My AR Book

My AR book was called Carpe Diem. It was about a normal girl from the United States with her life planned out travels to Malaysia with her crazy grandmother. It was an okay book.

We have recently finished pod casting. Samantha,Cortney, and I were partners. It took us a while to come up with something to talk about but we finally got the idea Mizzou football. We had to tape it a couple times to make sure we had a good video to turn in.
I also ended up being in another group with Cortney and Lucie. Since I moved here this year we decided to interview me on the differences between Santa Fe and Carrollton. We also had to take multiple takes so we could have a good video to turn in. In both groups we had fun and I think we ended up with a good pod cast.

I personally do not like the book "Roar of Thunder Hear My Cry". This is the book we are reading in reading class. There are some parts of the book that are okay but it just is not very intresting to me. Although we have not read the whole book, I am not a big fan so far.

The volleyball team is looking pretty good. The first couple practices where a little tough but as the season goes on it seems to be getting easier! Softball practices are also starting for fall tournoments. We have softball practice right after volleyball practice on certain nights. The softball team will only be playing in about four tournoments this fall. Hope we win alot in both volley ball and softball!:)
